How do I reset or delete my world?

Resetting a world is simply a matter of removing the right world folders — once they're gone, the server generates fresh terrain on the next start. Here's how to do it safely.

How a world reset works

Minecraft stores its terrain in world folders, typically world plus world_nether and world_the_end. When you delete these, the server has nothing to load, so it regenerates the missing worlds from scratch when it starts. You can reset all of them or just one dimension.

How to reset or delete your world

1. Stop the server from the Console tab.
2. In the Files tab, delete the world folder(s) — for Minecraft that's typically world, plus world_nether and world_the_end if you want those reset too.
3. Start the server; it regenerates the missing worlds.

Warning: Deletion is permanent — take a backup first (download the folders via Files or SFTP) if there's any chance you'll want the old world back.
