How do I connect via SFTP (FileZilla/WinSCP)?

SFTP gives you fast, reliable access to all your server files from a desktop client like FileZilla or WinSCP. It's the best way to move large worlds, bulk uploads, and whole folder trees that the browser uploader struggles with.

Overview

Your SFTP details live in the panel, and the login reuses your panel account. Once your client is pointed at the right host and port with the SFTP protocol selected, you'll see your server's files ready to drag in and out.

How to connect

  1. Open the Settings tab (or the SFTP Details section) to find your SFTP host, port, and username.
  2. In FileZilla or WinSCP, choose the SFTP protocol and enter that host and port.
  3. Use the SFTP username shown in the panel, and your panel account password.
  4. Connect, and you'll see your server's files to drag in and out.

Warning: SFTP (over SSH) is not the same as plain FTP — make sure your client is set to SFTP, using the host and port from the panel, or the connection will fail.

Tips & best practices

  • Use SFTP for large worlds, bulk uploads, and folder trees where the browser uploader struggles.
