Where do I find or set my SFTP password?

Your SFTP login reuses your panel account, so there's no separate SFTP password to hunt for. Once you know that, connecting is simple — and there's an even smoother, password-free option if you'd prefer.

How it works

SFTP authenticates with your panel credentials: the username shown on your Settings tab plus your regular panel account password. There's nothing extra to create or remember.

How to find your details

1. Your SFTP username is shown on the Settings tab.
2. Your SFTP password is your panel account password.
3. If you've forgotten it, reset it via Forgot Password on the panel login.

Tip: Prefer not to send your password each time? Add an SSH key in Account Settings and authenticate with that instead.
