How do I download or save my world to my computer?

Keeping a copy of your world on your own computer is smart practice — especially before any big change. There are two easy ways to do it, depending on how large your world is.

Two ways to download

Small worlds: in the Files tab, select the world folder, Archive it to a .zip, then download the zip.
Large worlds: connect via SFTP (using a client like WinSCP) and drag the world folder straight to your PC.

Both give you a complete copy of your world you can restore or keep as a backup.

Step-by-step

Stop the server first so the files aren't being written mid-save.
For a small world, Archive the world folder in the Files tab and download the .zip.
For a large world, connect via SFTP and drag world to your computer.
Grab world_nether and world_the_end too if you want the full map.

Tip: The panel Backups tab is temporarily offline while it's rebuilt as a deduplicated system, so downloading via Files/SFTP is the way to keep your own backups right now. Staff can also help via a ticket.
