How do I reset only the Nether or only the End?
You can regenerate just the Nether or just the End without touching your Overworld, because each dimension lives in its own folder. Delete the one you want fresh, leave the rest alone, and the server rebuilds it on the next start.
Dimensions are separate folders
Your world is split across folders: world (the Overworld), world_nether (the Nether), and world_the_end (the End). Deleting one dimension's folder regenerates only that dimension — the others stay exactly as they are.
Step-by-step
- Stop the server.
- In Files, delete
world_nether(Nether) and/orworld_the_end(End) — leaveworldalone to keep the Overworld. - Start the server — the deleted dimension regenerates fresh.
Warning: On some setups (for example, certain multiworld plugins) the dimension folder names differ from the defaults. Check your world layout first, and back up before deleting anything.
Frequently asked questions
Will this affect my Overworld builds? No — as long as you leave the world folder untouched, your Overworld is safe. Only the deleted dimension regenerates.
My folders aren't named world_nether / world_the_end — why? A multiworld plugin or custom setup may use different names. Look at your file layout to find the right folders before deleting.
Can I keep the old Nether/End? Yes — rename the folder instead of deleting it. The server generates a fresh one and your old copy stays on disk.
