Can I use custom mods, or only ones from a catalog?

You're absolutely free to use custom mods — the built-in catalog is a convenience, not a limit. Anything not listed, including private or custom builds, you can upload yourself.

Catalog vs custom

The Mods and Plugins tabs make catalog installs quick, but they're just one route. For anything custom, a manual upload via Files or SFTP gets it onto your server.

Installing custom add-ons

Use the Mods/Plugins tab for quick installs from the catalog.
For anything custom or not listed, upload the .jar into the mods (or plugins) folder via Files or SFTP.
Restart from the Console tab.

Warning: Only install add-ons from sources you trust — a malicious jar runs on your server with full access.
