How do I install multiple mods at once or a whole server pack?
Rather than adding mods one at a time for a full modpack, install the modpack from the Mods & Plugins page or upload the whole server pack. The single most important rule: every mod in the pack must target the same Minecraft version and loader.
Two paths for packs
For a Modrinth modpack, the Mods & Plugins page installs it in one step. For a custom server pack, you upload and unarchive the pack, then match your software and version to it.
Installing a pack
- For Minecraft, use the Mods & Plugins page to install a Modrinth modpack in one step.
- For a custom server pack, upload the pack (often a zip) via Files or SFTP, unarchive it, and set the software/version to match on the Software page (Forge/Fabric + the right MC version).
- Restart from the Console tab.
Warning: All mods in a pack must target the same Minecraft version and loader (Forge or Fabric) — a mismatch is the top cause of a pack failing to load. See the Minecraft KB.

What's the difference between a client pack and a server pack? Use the server files of the pack on the host — client-only files won't run a server.
