Can I host two bots on one plan?

It's a common question — you've got two bots and one plan, so can you double up? This article explains how our Discord Bot plans are sized and what we recommend for running more than one bot.

One plan, one bot

Each Discord Bot plan is sized to run one bot. The RAM and resources are dialed in for a single bot process, so you get reliable, predictable performance for your project.

You can technically start a second process on the same server, but we don't recommend it — two bots sharing one plan compete for the same RAM, and that can lead to slowdowns or crashes for both.

The recommended approach

For stability and headroom, we recommend one bot per server. If you're running a second bot, the smoothest path is to grab a second plan so each bot gets its own dedicated resources.

Tip: Running a companion process alongside your bot (like a small keep-alive helper) is fine — it's running two full bots on one plan that tends to strain resources.
