Control Panel
Can I use, or can support install, a version or build not on the list?
The Versions tab covers the overwhelming majority of software and builds, but if you need something outside the catalog — a specific build, a snapshot, or a custom fork — you're not stuck. You can install it manually, and we're glad to help if you'd rather we handle it.
Your options
First check the Versions tab, since it spans a wide range. For anything it doesn't offer, a manual jar upload via Files plus a Startup change gets you there.
Installing an off-catalog build
- Check the Versions tab first — it covers a wide range of software and builds.
- For a specific build not offered, upload the jar via Files and point the Startup jar variable at it.
- If you'd like help, open a ticket and we'll look into installing it for you.
Warning: Manually installed builds are yours to maintain — make sure the jar matches your intended Minecraft version and your mods or plugins.
Frequently asked questions
