Control Panel
Does Humble use Pterodactyl, and can I get an API key?
Yes — our game panel is built on Pterodactyl, which we call the "Humble Panel," and you can generate your own client API key to automate your servers. This article shows where to create one and what it can do.
About the panel and API
Because the Humble Panel is Pterodactyl-based, it speaks the standard Pterodactyl client API. That means you can script console, power, files, and backups for your own servers with a key you generate yourself.
Generating a client API key
- Open Account → API Credentials in the panel.
- Create a client API key and copy it — you'll see it only once.
- Use it with the standard Pterodactyl client API to automate console, power, files, and backups for your own servers.
Warning: An API key acts as your login — keep it secret, and revoke it immediately if it's ever exposed.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an admin API? No — customers use the client API for their own servers only.
What can the key do? Whatever your account can: your servers' console, power, files, and backups.
