If I change server location/region, do I keep my files and database?
Yes — a location change moves your server, and we handle it so your files come with it. There are a couple of things to plan for, though, especially around your IP and your database.

When you change region, we move your server files to the new location for you. Your MySQL database, however, lives on a separate system, so it's worth confirming with us how it's handled for your specific move — that way you can re-point any plugins that connect to it if needed.

Warning: Moving location almost always changes your IP and port, and may change the database host. Plan to update your DNS/SRV records and plugin configs afterward — and back up first, via Files or SFTP.
