Can I change my server's region/location (e.g. EU → NA)?

Yes, you can change your region — it's handled by our team via a server transfer, since it means moving your server to hardware in the other location. Just open a ticket to get it started.

How a region change works

Moving from EU to NA (or the reverse) physically relocates your server. Our team copies your files to hardware in the new region so nothing is lost.

  1. Open a ticket asking to move to Washington or Germany.
  2. We'll schedule the transfer and let you know timing.
  3. The server is stopped during the move and comes back up in the new location.

Warning: Don't try to "move" by reinstalling — that won't change the physical location. A transfer is the correct path so your data comes with you.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my world? No — a transfer copies your files. See the article on what changes during a region move.

Will my IP change? Yes — moving to new hardware means a new IP. A custom domain keeps your players' address the same.
