Will changing region reset my world or change my IP?

Your world and files come with you on a region transfer — nothing is wiped. The one thing that does change is your IP.

What stays and what changes

• Stays: your world, plugins, mods, configs, and all files. A transfer copies them.
• Changes: your IP (and possibly port), because the server moves to different hardware.

If you share a raw IP:port, you'll need to hand out the new one after the move. If you use a custom domain, just update the A record (and the SRV port if it changed) and players keep the same address.

Tip: Set up a domain before you migrate and the change is invisible to your players — you update one record and they never notice.
