The Versions tab won't load or says it can't install — how do I fix it?
If the Versions tab won't load or says it can't install, it's usually something small and fixable. Work through the checks below before opening a ticket.
Common fixes
- Make sure the server is stopped before installing a new version.
- Refresh the panel and reopen the Versions tab.
- Free up disk space if you're near the cap — installs need room.
- Try again in a minute — the installer fetches files from upstream, which can briefly time out.
If it still fails
Grab any error shown and open a ticket with your server ID.
Tip: A "Failed to connect to Node API" style message on a tab is a node-side config issue, not something you did — tell us and we'll fix it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the server need to be stopped to install? Yes — stop the server first, then install from the Versions tab.
What if I see a "Failed to connect to Node API" error? That's a node-side config issue on our end — open a ticket with your server ID and we'll fix it.
