What's the newest MC version, and when will new versions be added?
Wondering when the latest Minecraft version will be available on your server? New versions appear in the Versions tab as the software projects add support — here's how the timing works.
How new versions arrive
The Versions tab tracks upstream releases. New Minecraft versions are added as the software projects (Paper, Forge, Fabric, etc.) publish support — usually shortly after a Minecraft release.
If a version you want isn't listed yet, it's typically because the loader hasn't released for it yet. We don't set the release timing — that's up to each project.
What to do in the meantime
- Check the Versions tab for the latest listed builds.
- If your desired version isn't there yet, you can upload a JAR manually via Files (rename to
server.jar). - Watch for the loader project to publish support, then switch via the Versions tab.
Tip: A missing version almost always means the loader (Paper/Forge/Fabric) hasn't released for it yet — not that we're behind.
Frequently asked questions
Why isn't the newest version available yet? Usually because the server software project hasn't published support for it — the Versions tab adds it once they do.
Can I run it before it's listed? If a compatible JAR exists, upload it manually via Files and rename it to server.jar.
