How do I restore my server to an earlier state?
With the built-in Backups tab temporarily unavailable, you restore your server from a manual copy that you (or we) made earlier. If you have that copy, getting back to an earlier state is straightforward.
How it works
Restoring simply means putting an earlier copy of your files back in place of the current ones. You upload your saved archive or files, swap them in with the server stopped, and start back up.
How to restore
- If you have a downloaded archive/copy, upload it via Files or SFTP.
- Stop the server, replace the current files with your copy (unarchive if needed), and confirm the world name matches your config.
- Start the server and verify.
Warning: Replacing files overwrites your current data — make a copy of the present state first in case you need it. If you have no earlier copy, open a ticket and we'll see what we can help with.

- Keep periodic downloaded copies so you always have a restore point while the new system is being finished.
