Where do I see and download my backups?
The automated Backups tab is temporarily offline, so right now your "backups" are the copies you download yourself. That's easy to do — and keeping an off-machine copy is excellent protection no matter what.
How it works
Until the new system is live, you take a snapshot whenever you like by downloading your world and key folders through the Files tab or SFTP, and storing them wherever you keep your files. Staff can help if you get stuck.
How to keep your backups
- Use the Files tab (or SFTP) to download your world and key folders whenever you want a snapshot.
- Store those downloads on your own PC or cloud.
- Staff can assist via ticket if you need help pulling a copy.
Note: A new deduplicated backup system is on the way. Until then, downloading via Files/SFTP is how you keep copies — and an off-machine copy is great protection regardless.
Frequently asked questions
Can I access backups via SFTP? Yes — downloading your files over SFTP is the current backup method.
What about automated backups? They're temporarily paused during the upgrade, so back up manually for now.
