Will restoring bring back files I deleted?
Restoring will bring back deleted files only if you have an earlier copy that still contains them. While the Backups tab is being rebuilt there's no automatic file history, which is exactly why keeping your own copies matters right now.
How it works
A restore puts back whatever is in the copy you saved. If your last download predates the deletion, those files come back with it. If nothing was saved before the deletion, there's no automatic history to draw on yet.
How to bring files back
- If you downloaded a copy from before the deletion, re-upload the missing files via Files/SFTP.
- Match the world name to your config so the restored world loads.
- If you have no copy, open a ticket — recovery depends on what's available.
Warning: Without an earlier copy, deleted files may not be recoverable — this is exactly why manual downloads matter while automated backups are paused.
