Can you restore a backup from a specific date/time for me?

Wondering whether staff can pull back your server to an exact date and time? You can do it yourself from your server's Backups page — here's how that works.

What's possible right now

Every server is backed up automatically twice a day (00:00 and 12:00 UTC by default, or your own Backup times), and the Backups page lists every backup available for your server. Pick the one closest to the date and time you want and restore it yourself — into a new folder, over the current files, or the whole server. Your own downloaded copies can also be re-uploaded via Files or SFTP.

How to request a date-specific restore

1. Open your server → Backups and find the backup closest to the date/time you need (or check your own saved copies).
2. Restore it (see our restore guide).
3. If something goes wrong, open a ticket with your server ID and the exact date/time you're after, and our team will help.

Note: Restoring is free within your plan's window (the last 3 days on Supreme and most plans, 7 on Ultimate, none on Budget unless you chose a Backups option) — or longer if you chose a longer Backups option when ordering, which you can change later with Change plan. Older backups cost $3 each to restore, which unlocks that backup for 7 days. Browsing is free, and your manual backups are always free to restore.
