Can you restore a backup from a specific date/time for me?
Wondering whether staff can pull back your server to an exact date and time? Here's how that works while the panel's automatic Backups tab is being upgraded.
What's possible right now
If you've kept your own downloaded copies, you can restore any point yourself — just re-upload the copy from the date you want via Files or SFTP. Because the panel's automatic Backups tab is temporarily unavailable during the upgrade, staff-side restores depend on what exists rather than a guaranteed archive.
How to request a date-specific restore
- First check your own saved copies — if you have the date you need, re-upload it yourself (see our restore guide).
- If you need staff help, open a ticket with your server ID and the exact date/time you're after.
- Our team will help where possible based on what's available.
Warning: Don't rely on a hidden automatic copy right now — keep your own dated backups so you're never dependent on what's recoverable server-side.
Frequently asked questions
Can you always restore any past date? Not guaranteed during the upgrade. Automatic panel backups are paused, so staff restores depend on what exists. Your own copies are the reliable path.
How precise can a restore be? As precise as the copies that exist — your dated downloads let you pick an exact point.
What should I include in the ticket? Your server ID and the specific date/time you want, so the team can check quickly.
