Does my plan include backups; are they automatic; how often?

Backups are part of every HumbleServers plan, and this article explains exactly what's included, what's changing right now, and what a restore costs on each plan.

What's included

Backups are included free on all three plans — Budget, Supreme, and Ultimate. There's no separate backup fee to worry about.

Right now the self-serve backup feature is being reworked into a new deduplicated system, so the automatic panel backups are paused while that ships. We're not promising a date, but the new system is designed to use far less disk space.

What to do in the meantime

  1. Take manual backups by downloading your world and files via the Files tab or SFTP.
  2. Keep dated copies on your own computer so you can roll back to a specific point.
  3. If you need help, staff can assist via a ticket.

When you need to restore through us, it's free on Supreme and Ultimate and $3 per restore on Budget.

Tip: Keep your own copies until the upgraded panel is live — it's the safest habit regardless of which plan you're on.

How often were automatic backups taken? Those cadence and retention details will follow with the new system. For now, you decide how often by downloading copies yourself.
