Where is the Backups section / why is there no backup option?

If you've gone looking for the Backups tab and can't find a backup option, nothing is wrong with your server. Backups now live on the Backups page in the client area (https://humbleservers.com/client): open your server from My Servers and pick Backups in the menu on the left.

How backups work now

Every server is backed up automatically twice a day — at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC by default, and you can pick your own two times under Backup times. The Backups page lists every backup available for your server: you can browse one, restore it (into a new folder, over the current files, or the whole server) or download it as a .tar.gz (up to 2 GB). Older panel backups also show there if your server has some.

How to back up yourself

1. Open your server → Backups.
2. Click Back up now. The newest 3 manual backups are kept (a new one replaces the oldest), and they're always free to restore and download.
3. For an extra copy on your own computer, you can also download your world folder (and world_nether, world_the_end, plus plugins/mods/configs) via the Files tab or SFTP.
4. If something goes wrong with a backup or restore, message the team.

Tip: Restoring recent automatic backups is free within your plan's window (the last 3 days on most plans, 7 on Ultimate, none on Budget unless you chose a Backups option) — or longer if you chose a longer Backups option when ordering. Older backups cost $3 each to restore, which unlocks that backup for 7 days. Browsing is always free.
