Fabric works just like Forge
The Modpacks tab handles Fabric packs too, automatically fetching the Fabric loader and all the pack's mods — the same one-click experience as Forge packs. Under the hood it just installs the Fabric loader instead of Forge.
Installing a Fabric pack manually
- Get the pack's Fabric server files (the server pack, not the client pack).
- Stop the server and upload the files to the server root via SFTP.
- Set a matching Fabric build in the Versions/Startup tab.
- Start from the Console.
When it's running, players join with the same Fabric pack version in their launcher.
Tip: As with Forge, always use the server pack for Fabric — client-only mods will crash the server.
