Will upgrading or downgrading lose my world, files, or plugins?

No — changing your RAM or plan does not touch your world, plugins, or configs. You're adjusting the resources allocated to the same server, not rebuilding it.

What changes and what doesn't

Your files stay exactly where they are. An upgrade or downgrade only changes how much RAM, CPU, or disk is allocated to the same server.

The one thing to watch on a downgrade is disk: if your new plan has less disk than your files use, you'll need to trim your usage first.

1. Before any big change, take a manual backup of your world/files for peace of mind.
2. On a downgrade, check your disk usage against the new plan's cap.
3. Apply the change with Change plan on your server's Billing page in the client area — your data carries over.
