Can I access my files while my server is suspended?

A suspended server is offline, so its files aren't reachable the usual way — but if you're suspended for non-payment and need your data, there's still a path to get it.

Why files aren't directly accessible

When a server is suspended, it's powered down, so the Files manager and SFTP aren't available in the normal way. Your data is still stored during the suspension period; it's just not live.

Your options

  • To keep the server: pay the outstanding invoice within the 10-day window to bring it back online, then access files as normal.
  • To download data before cancelling: open a ticket and ask for temporary file access. We can arrange a short window so you can export your world and files.

Warning: A suspended server is held for 10 days before deletion. Request access or pay within that window so there's time to act.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use SFTP while suspended? Not while the server is offline. Temporary access is arranged through a ticket if you need to download data before cancelling.

Will paying restore my file access immediately? Paying the overdue invoice reinstates the server, which brings back normal Files/SFTP access once it's back online.
