Why was my server suspended, and how do I get it unsuspended?

A suspended server is temporarily offline, but your data is still safe — and getting it back online is usually quick. Here's why suspensions happen and exactly how to lift one.

Why servers get suspended

Servers are generally suspended for one of two reasons:

• An overdue payment — an invoice went past due.
• A chargeback — a payment was reversed through your bank or PayPal.

How to get unsuspended

1. If it's overdue, pay the outstanding invoice (plus the $1 late fee).
2. If it's a chargeback, resolve or reverse the chargeback.

Once the underlying issue is resolved, your server is reinstated automatically.

Warning: A suspended server is held for 10 days before deletion. Act within that window to keep your data.

Is my data lost during suspension? No — your files stay intact while suspended. They're only at risk if the server passes the 10-day window and is deleted.
