What happens to my files after I cancel?
It's important to know exactly what happens to your data when you cancel a server, so you can protect anything you want to keep.
Files are deleted on cancellation
On cancellation, your server's files are permanently deleted. We do hold a security backup, but recovery from it isn't guaranteed, so please don't rely on it as your only copy.
If you need a restore later
- A restore carries a $5 reinstatement fee.
- You'll need to provide the cancelled server's last IP address and its console link (which contains the server ID).
Open a billing ticket with those details and we'll check whether a backup is available.
Tip: Always take your own backup by downloading your world/files from the Files manager (or via SFTP) before cancelling — that's the only sure copy.

Where do I find the console link and IP? The console URL is in your browser history from when you used the panel, and it contains the server ID. The last IP is the address you connected to. Include both in your ticket.
