How long before a suspended server is terminated?
If your server has been suspended, there's a clear window before anything permanent happens — so you have time to act and keep your data.
The 10-day window
A suspended server is deleted 10 days after suspension. Up until that point, your files remain intact and the server can be reinstated by resolving whatever caused the suspension (an overdue invoice or a chargeback).
What to do
- Pay the outstanding invoice (plus the $1 late fee) within the 10-day window.
- If the cause was a chargeback, resolve or reverse it instead.
- Your server is reinstated once the issue is cleared.
Warning: After 10 days the server and its files are removed. Pay within the window to keep your data.
Frequently asked questions
What happens exactly on day 10? The server is terminated and its files are deleted. Recovery may still be possible if a backup exists, but it isn't guaranteed.
I want to cancel instead of paying — can I still get my files? Yes. Open a ticket within the window and ask for temporary file access so you can download your data before cancelling.
